A great tail leaps up from the sea! 'A real sea beast!' yells Bam with glee. Bird sneaks up close, with a sharp beak. The scales flash red in a bright streak!
Huge gold eyes flash and teeth gleam. The beast heaves up with a scream. The waves leap up and cross each street. White foam spreads past the beast's feet.
Bam grabs his flute and starts to play. The sky turns peach across the bay. The beast hears each sweet, clean note. Bird sweeps right past its huge throat.
The beast slows down and shuts its eyes. The waves ease off. The foam then dries. The sea turns calm. Bird gives a tweet. The great sea beast sways to the beat!
The beast is gone. The beach needs a clean sweep. Bam heaves a beam up from the heap. His team spreads out to mend each shack. 'We will feast on bread when we get back!'
